The Emperor’s New Clothes: Revealed!
9:30 AM-3:30 PM ages 9-11 (entering 4th-6th grade), full-day
Remember the story of The Emperor’s New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen? We will explore
this story as a series of monologues from the perspective of various characters. How did The Imperial
Prime Minister, the Spinning Wheel, the Prince, or the Imperial Throne feel about the deceit? Each
student will create a character and a monologue and on Friday we will reveal the Truth for all who
wish to join the parade (or is that “charade?”)!

provisation, imagination, and pure creative genius, we will devise our own rendition of a giant encoun-
ter and share this with families on Friday!
